Why is my air conditioning system is not turning on?

Forward

There may be a problem with the power supply or the thermostat. Try resetting the breaker or changing the thermostat settings to see if that fixes the problem. If the issue persists, contact a professional HVAC technician to diagnose and resolve the problem safely.

Why is my air conditioning system running, but not blowing air?

Forward

Turn your AC off. Check to see if the filter is dirty. If it’s dirty, clean it and try turning the air conditioner on again. A clogged filter can restrict airflow, but if the problem continues, there may be a deeper issue with your system. If it still doesn’t blow air, it may be time to call us.

Why is my air conditioning system running, but not cooling?

Forward

There may be a problem with the air filters, the refrigerant levels, or the indoor coil. You should call us for an inspection or AC service. Ignoring these issues can lead to reduced efficiency, higher energy bills, and potential system damage.

Why is my air conditioning unit leaking water

Forward

There may be a problem with the drainage system. You should call us to investigate and fix the problem. A clogged or faulty drain can lead to water damage and affect your HVAC system’s performance if not addressed promptly.

What should I do when my heating system breaks?

Forward

If your heating system breaks, there are a few things you can do to try and fix it before calling a technician. Check the thermostat to make sure it’s turned on, and that the temperature is set to something above room temperature. If it is on, check the furnace switch to make sure it’s in the “on” position. If it is on, and the thermostat is set correctly, then there may be a problem with the furnace itself. In this case, you should call a technician to come and take a look at it.

How do I keep my heating system running smoothly?

Forward

One of the best ways to keep your heating system running smoothly is by regularly performing maintenance on it. You can either do this yourself, or hire us to do it for you. Some of the things you should do as part of your maintenance routine include changing the air filters and cleaning the blower assembly.

How often should I replace my HVAC filter?

Forward

For homes, replace filters every 1 to 3 months, depending on pet ownership and indoor air quality needs. Businesses with higher air circulation or dust production may need monthly filter replacements.

How do I know when it’s time to replace my HVAC system?

Forward

If your system is over 10 to 15 years old, frequently needs repairs, struggles to maintain temperatures, or causes high energy bills, it may be time for a replacement.

How often should I service my HVAC system?

Forward

Residential: It’s recommended to schedule maintenance twice a year—once in the spring for cooling and once in the fall for heating.

Commercial: Systems in businesses should be serviced at least quarterly, depending on usage and building size.

How can I lower my energy bills with my HVAC system?

Forward

Ensure proper insulation, use a programmable thermostat, schedule regular maintenance, and upgrade to an energy-efficient HVAC system if your unit is outdated. Businesses should invest in zoning systems to control heating and cooling by area.

How can I improve my indoor air quality (IAQ)?

Forward

Regularly replace air filters, schedule duct cleaning every 3 to 5 years, use an air purifier, and maintain proper humidity levels (30-50%). Businesses should consider IAQ monitoring systems for employee health.

What is the ideal thermostat setting for energy savings?

Forward

In summer, set the thermostat to 78°F (26°C) when home and higher when away. In winter, 68°F (20°C) is ideal when home and lower when away. Businesses should adjust settings based on operating hours and occupancy.

When is it time to replace my heating system?

Forward

If your heating system is outdated, inefficient, or just not working well anymore, it may be time to replace it. A new heating system can save you money on your energy bills and help keep your home warm all winter long. When deciding which heating system to buy, there are a few things you need to keep in mind, such as the size of your home, the climate where you live, and your budget.
